Speed Networking

This past Tuesday, was the CLA's Spped Networking Event. It was a clear and cool evening in London, and the Masonville Library was very warm & welcoming.

We would like to thank all of the professionals who attended:
  • Randy Oldham, Web Librarian, University of Guelph
  • Denise Horoky, Education Librarian, University of Western Ontario
  • Sharron Smith, Manager of Reader's Advisory Services, Kitchener Public Library
  • Kevin Moore, Supervisor, Pond Mills Branch, London Public Library
  • Sarah Andrews, eCollections Librarian, London Public Library
  • Stephen Francom, Archivist, Elgin County Archives
  • Izabela Piasecka-Latour, Manager, Prospect Research, Ontario - CNIB

They showed a great amount of enthusiasm, patience and knowledge when faced with 15 minutes of one-on-one discussion with students eager to know more about them and their careers.

We can't name any one librarian, archivist or prospect researcher as a favourite, because they were all amazing!

If you were not able to make it to this semester's networking event, we will be scheduling another one for next semester, so be ready.
